Daron Schoenrock is a college coach.
Schoenrock was a pitcher at Tennessee Tech from 1981-1984, then was a graduate assistant there in 1985. In 1986-1987, he was graduate assistant at Murray State University. In '88 and '89, Daron was head coach at Lincoln Memorial University. Schoenrock was then an assistant at Birmingham-Southern College from 1990-1997, then was at the University of Kentucky in 1998-1999. He also wrote "The Total Pitching Program" in 1995.
In 2000-2001, he was pitching coach at the University of Georgia; the team made the 2001 College World Series. He was pitching coach for the Bristol Sox in the summer of '01. From 2002-2004, he was at Mississippi State University. He then became head coach at the University of Memphis. After a rough 13-42 finish in 2005, he led the team to 32-28 in 2006 for the second-best turnaround in NCAA Division I that year. In 2006, Memphis improved to 36-27, their best record in 12 years.
Schoenrock has helped develop Paul Maholm, Brandon Webb and Jonathan Papelbon.
