Dario Čusak has been a member of the Croatian national team several times. In the 1999 European Championship, he hit .222/.222/.222 and fielded .828 with five errors in five games at second base. He improved to .259/.310/.259 in the 2001 European Championship but fielded .872, with six errors in eight contests. He went 5 for 25 with two walks in the 2003 European Championship while cutting his error total to two.

In the 2007 European Championship, Dario hit .200/.385/.200 with 2 errors in 3 games. He is with Croatia for the 2009 Baseball World Cup.
