1B/C Darin Everson played in the Montreal Expos' chain in 1994-1995 and the Boston Red Sox chain in 1998. e played for the Madison Black Wolf in 1996, hitting .310 with 13 home runs in 300 at-bats. He then hit .297 with 17 homers in 309 at-bats for Madison in 1997. Each time he was beat out for all-star honors by Terry Lee. Returning to the Northern League in 1999 after his season in the Red Sox' system, Everson hit .306 with 12 homers in 333 at-bats to earn the all-star nod at first base.
