Dann Howitt hit a grand slam on September 22, 1993 against Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan. This was the last home run Ryan gave up in his career.
Howitt's brother, Shaun Howitt, was a minor league outfielder for the Kansas City Royals in 1972 and 1973.
