With its central campus in Seoul, Dankook University is the oldest private universty in South Korea. Alumni include past Korea Baseball Organization Rookie of the Year winners Byung-kyu Lee and Seung-hwan Oh as well as 2003 KBO strikeout leader Seung-ho Lee and 2001 KBO ERA leader Seok-jin Park. Boung-gon Jeung, Dong-woo Kang, Sung-woo Kang, Il-yeop Kim, Jae-gul Kim, Won-seop Kim, Dong-hyon Lee, Ji-wan Na, Ki-nam Park, Jae-young Shin and San Song also went here.
