- Sent back to Triple A after struggling with a low batting average in 2006.
After spending the 2008 season with the Tampa Bay Rays, Johnson was sold to the Yokohama Bay Stars. On Opening Day, he hit third and manned first base, going 0 for 4 and reaching on a Masahiro Araki error.
