Dan Daniel

Dan Daniel was a New York sportswriter for more than 60 years. He was at one time president of the Baseball Writers' Association of America and was a member of baseball's rules committee. Daniel won the J.G. Taylor Spink Award in 1972. Although he primarily wrote about baseball, Daniel also reported on football, and helped found a boxing magazine Ring Magazine.
