Dan Burke played in 1890 for two short-lived major-league franchises, Rochester and Syracuse, and then came back for one game in the National League in 1892.
With Rochester he was the fourth outfielder, primarily backing up Sandy Griffin, the centerfielder. With Syracuse he played exclusively catcher.
