The DSL Pirates are the Pittsburgh Pirates' affiliate in the Dominican Summer League and they have been around since 1990. The Pirates sent players to the co-op 1989 DSL Pirates/Cardinals/Mets. In 2012-2013, the Pirates fielded two teams, DSL Pirates 1 and DSL Pirates 2.

Past players include Aramis Ramirez, Jose Guillen and Ronny Paulino.
