Biographical Information
A fairly successful bench player for most of his career, Goodwin collected at least two hits in 10 of his first 11 career starts. Known for his incredible speed, he stole at least 50 bases three straight seasons in the minors.
He is cousins of NFL Hall of Famer Walter Payton and NBA star Gary Payton.
