[edit] Biographical Information
Curt Motton was a back-up outfielder and pinch-hitter for eight seasons in the American League. His best season was 1969, when he posted a line of .303/.398/.573 during the second dead-ball era. Most of his career was with the Baltimore Orioles, and he appeared in one game of the 1969 World Series.

Motton hit .337 in 27 games at Rochester in 1966 and followed that up with .323 and 18 homers in 113 games in 1967.
Motton also coached at the major league and minor league level.
Inducted into the Rochester Red Wings Hall of Fame, 2006.
Motton missed the 1964 season due to military service.
