[edit] Biographical Information
Curt Bernard played in 1900 and 1901 for the New York Giants. He also had a minor league career of at least 15 seasons, seven of which were spent with Los Angeles.
Bernard had been with Albany during part of 1899 and in 1900, breaking into the majors with the 1900 Giants on September 17, 1900. He played 20 games for the Giants that year, so he was playing pretty regularly at the end of the season. In 1901 he played 23 more games, with the last one on June 24. He spent part of 1901 with Albany and played for them in 1902 also. He led the league in batting in 1902.
The Sporting Life of March 8, 1913 listed him on the Rochester roster.
