Craig Eaton pitched one season in the major leagues with the 1979 Kansas City Royals. He appeared in 10 innings during 5 games, and had an excellent 2.70 ERA. The team as a whole, which finished 2nd in the division, had a 4.45 ERA. Eaton's 2.70 ERA was the only one on the team under 3.00 except for Jerry Terrell who pitched just one inning.
Eaton had attended Florida State University in 1975-76.
