[edit] Biographical Information
Craig Colbert began his coaching career as a player/coach with the Las Vegas Stars in 1998. He was a coach for the Stars in 1999, then was manager of the Fort Wayne Wizards in 2000 and skipper of the Lake Elsinore Storm the following year. He then managed the Mobile Bay Bears for two seasons beginning in 2002. From 2004 to 2006, he led the Portland Beavers. In 2007, Colbert became the bench coach of the San Diego Padres.
