Pitcher Cory Bailey has one career major league save, it came on April 10, 2002 as a member of the Kansas City Royals. He came in in the bottom of the 8th with runners on first and second, struck out Nomar Garciaparra, then pitched a scoreless 9th in a 6-2 Royals win. Bailey played for the La New Bears in 2004-2005. In 2008, Bailey played and coached for the dMedia T-Rex. At season's end, he was banned by the CPBL along with two teammates (Yuan-Chia Chen and Ke-Fan Chen) for alleged game-fixing; Bailey denied the allegations.
