On July 4, 2010, Cory Aldridge appeared in in the major leagues for the first time since October, 2001. He had played 14 years in the minor leagues - over 1300 games - around his two call-ups to the Show.
In 2009, he spent the entire season with the Omaha Royals and was named Omaha's Player of the Year. He had 170 lifetime home runs in the minors at the end of that season, along with 98 stolen bases. He signed with the Nexen Heroes for 2011, going 0 for 4 with three strikeouts in his KBO debut.
