The 1902 Corsicana Oil Citys won a Texas League championship, capturing titles in both halves of the season. Their season included a 27 game winning streak and a 51-3 over the Texarkana Casketmakers on June 15th. The club featured four future major leaguers: shortstop Hunter Hill, catcher Nig Clarke, pitcher Lucky Wright, and shortstop Walter Morris.
