Corey Lee got into one game with the 1999 Texas Rangers. He also had a nine-season minor league career, with a peak in 1997 when he went 15-5. He had been a first-round pick in 1996 (# 32 overall).
In 2005 he signed with the Nippon Ham Fighters, managed by Trey Hillman, and was part of their championship team in 2006.
His time at North Carolina State University overlapped with that of Andy Barkett.
