Outfielder Connie Creeden spent seven days in the Major Leagues with the Boston Braves from April 28, 1943 to May 5, of the same year. He had four at-bats and one base-hit and spent the rest of his seven year professional baseball career in the minor leagues.

Connie had several good seasons during his seven year run in the minor leagues. His first full season came with the Bradford Bees of the Class D Pony League in 1942. He hit at a .349 average, had 21 home runs and his 119 RBI led the league. In 1945 Creeden had a split season in the Southern Association and hit at a .362 average in 439 at-bats for the Little Rock Travelers and the Atlanta Crackers.

1947 seen him with the Port Chester Clippers of the Class B Colonial League and he turned in a league leading .395 batting average and made the All-Star team. Connie finished up his minor league career in 1948 hitting .327 for the Florence Steelers of the Class B Tri-State League in 26 games and a league leading .402 in 69 games for the St. Hyacinthe Saints of the Provincial League.

Ending his pro baseball career in 1948, at the age of 32, Creeden appeared in 614 games and had 797 base-hits in 2,250 at-bats, for a minor league career batting average of .354.

For 30 years, he was a self-employed musician. He died from a heart attack at the age of 54 in Santa Ana, CA.
