Cliff Gustafson

Cliff Gustafson won a then-record 1427 games as a college coach. When he retired in 1996, he had coached 35 first team All Americans. He won NCAA titles in 1975 and 1983. Before joining the University of Texas baseball program, he won seven state titles as coach of South High School in San Antonio. His most famous player was Roger Clemens.
He is one of the few people to both play and also coach in the College World Series.
