Ciudad Darío

Ciudad Darío is located in the Matagalpa department in central Nicaragua, north-east of the capital Managua. Originally called Metapa, it was renamed after its most famous son, poet Ruben Darío. Porfi Altamirano, Sandy Moreno and Elvin Orozco were born here.
