The Cincinnati Outlaw Reds represented Cincinnati in the short-lived Union Association in 1884 and played their home games at Bank Street Grounds (former home of the Cincinnati Red Stockings of the American Association). Featuring a trio of 20-game winners including league ERA champ Jim McCormick, the club posted a 69-36 record. However, they finished in third place, 21 games behind the league champion St. Louis Maroons. The Outlaw Reds folded along with the Union Association after just one season.
