Chul-min Oh pitched in the Olympics and Korea Baseball Organization.

In the 1996 Olympics, he was 0-1 with a 6.00 ERA in games, striking out 9 in 9 innings but allowing 11 hits (2 homers) and 6 walks. His three appearances came against Nicaragua (four shutout innings to end the game despite 7 baserunners), Cuba (3 runs in 2 innings as part of a 14-11 loss) and Japan (a start and a loss, giving up 3 runs in 3 innings though he fanned 6; his team lost 14-4).

Oh then played for the Haitai Tigers in the KBO, starting in 1997 (a 6.75 ERA, no decisions). In 1998, he was 5-13 with a save and a 4.70 ERA, followed by a 6-6 season with a save and an ERA of 5.19. In 2000, he fell to 2-3, 8.82. With the Tigers (now the KIA Tigers) in 2001, he was 2-5 with a 4.78 ERA, walking 32 in 52 2/3 IP. He had a 4.26 ERA and no decisions as a LOOGY (19 IP over 30 G) in 2002 then had a 1.78 ERA in 2003. He had a 1-3, 6.00 record in 2004 then ended his career by going 0-1 with a 6.17 ERA for the 2005 Tigers.

Overall, Oh was 16-31 with two saves and a 5.48 ERA in 241 KBO games, with 537 hits, 209 walks and 301 K in 471 IP.
