Chubu Nihon

When the Japan Baseball League resumed in 1946, Sangyo had become Chubu Nihon. The team was named for its parent company, the Chubu Nihon Shimbun (now know as the Chunichi Shimbun). The team placed eight with a record of 42-60-3. The following year the team became the Chubu Nihon Dragons.
