Chris Mears tossed one hitless inning for Team Canada in the 1999 Pan American Games. He was 1-1 with a 1.98 ERA for Team Canada in the 2001 Baseball World Cup. In the 2006 Americas qualifier for the 2008 Olympics, Mears was 2-0 with a 2.45 ERA; he only pitched 3 2/3 IP to get the two wins.
