Chris Booker was on Team USA for the 2007 Baseball World Cup, splitting closing duties with Jeff Stevens. Booker allowed one run in five innings and had three saves, leading the Cup in saves. The US won its first Gold Medal in over 30 years. Against the Taiwan national team, Booker had his biggest scare as the host nation moved within three and loaded the bases before falling.
