Chia-Yu Lin is an infielder. He was drafted in the 2nd round in 2006 by the Sinon Bulls but did not sign. In the 2009 World Port Tournament, he was 0 for 12, splitting first base with Chia-Hao Chang. He was one of four cuts Taiwan made right before the 2009 Asian Championship, but rejoined Taiwan for the 2009 Baseball World Cup.
