Chase Lambin spent 2005-2006 and 2008 in AAA.

When he was 9 years old, Lambin was shown on the cover of a Little League video called "How To Hit and Run." Lambin was taken by the New York Mets in the 34th round of the 2002 amateur draft and was the latest choice who signed with the team. He debuted with the Brooklyn Cyclones that year, hitting .279/.316/.447 but making 15 errors in 47 games. In 2003, Chase made the jump to high-A, batting .289/.366/.404 for the St. Lucie Mets as a middle infielder. He hit 27 doubles, second on the club behind David Wright and was also second to Wright with 49 RBI. He led the team in average and finished 7th in the Florida State League in that department. He made the FSL All-Star team as the utility infielder.

Lambin played for the Binghamton Mets in 2004, but struggled, slumping to .244/.331/.390. He split 2005 between Binghamton (.331/.396/.657, 14 HR in 53 G) and the Norfolk Tides (.289/.350/.526 in 61 games, another 10 home runs). He was showing consierable pop and promise for a utility infielder and low draft pick.

Chase faded backwards again in 2006, hitting only .222/.319/.300 with 2 homers in 83 games for Norfolk and .271/.380/.526 in 39 games for Binghamton. He was Norfolk's main third baseman, playing 71 contests there. Lambin, a free agent, was signed by the Florida Marlins. Back in AA for 2007, he produced at a .283/.354/.486 rate for the Carolina Mudcats, with 31 doubles, 6 triples and 15 home runs, leading the club in the first two and finishing second in homers and RBI (59). Lambin was two doubles shy of the Southern League lead.

In 2008, Lambin had a very good season for the AAA Albuquerque Isotopes, hitting .300/.378/.518 with 14 homers.

Chase signed with the Chiba Lotte Marines for 2009. He debuted on April 9, spelling Tsuyoshi Nishioka at shortstop and going 0 for 3 with two strikeouts from the #8 spot in the order.
