Charlie Wacker pitched one game in April for the 1909 Pirates. He had gone 27-8 for Evansville in 1908.
Although he gave up no runs in his one major league game, he did not pitch in another. He spent the remainder of the season with Milwaukee, a team which contended for the American Association pennant.
