Charles William Moore

Charlie Moore Sr., the father of major leaguer Charlie Moore, played in the minor leagues from 1949 to 1952.

Moore pitched for the 1949-1950 Landis Spinners and the 1951-1952 Evansville Braves. He led the 1950 North Carolina State League with 20 wins in 1950. Moore also spent 12 games with the El Dorado Oilers in 1950 - as a shortstop.
