Charlie Kavanagh pinch hit in five games for the Chicago White Sox in 1914. He was a World War I Veteran and became a bailiff at the Cook County Court in Chicago. He died at his home at age 81 and is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Reedsburg, Wisconsin.
