[edit] Biographical Information
Charlie Ahearn played one game for the 1880 Troy Trojans, a team known for also having the young Dan Brouthers, Roger Connor, Buck Ewing, Mickey Welch and Tim Keefe.
Rearch by SABR members has unearthed more information about Aheran. His first name was actually William and he was from Troy, NY. In addition to his short ballplaying career, he was a county clerk for a number of years and also worked as a colar turner, according to city directories. He died in 1919.
