Chad Kreuter was 0 for 4 for Team USA in the 1984 Amateur World Series. He was signed as a 5th round pick in the 1985 amateur draft by the Texas Rangers and scout John Young.
Kreuter took over as manager of the Modesto Nuts in 2006 but resigned after just a couple months to become baseball coach at the University of Southern California.
Kreuter's wife Kelly is the daughter of longtime USC coach Mike Gillespie, the man he suceeded as the Trojans coach.
