Stephen Chad Jenkins

Chad Jenkins was the 20th pick overall in the first round of the 2009 Amateur Draft, selected by the Toronto Blue Jays.

His freshman year, Jenkins had a 2-3, 4.02 record with one save. Chad won 5 games and had a 5-5 record and 3.96 ERA as a sophomore at Kennesaw State University. He was 7th in the Atlantic Sun Conference in ERA and tied for second with 78 strikeouts.

He won the Atlantic Sun Conference Pitcher of the Year award as a junior, with an 8-1 record and an ERA of 2.54. He led the Conference in wins and ERA and had a 41-inning scoreless inning streak at one point.

He studied accounting at school.
