Ed Andrews and Ray Mack are the most prominent major league players to come from Case Western Reserve University. The school was formed from the merger of Western Reserve University and Case Institute of Technology in 1967. In reality, since Case and Western Reserve merged after their playing days, they would have come from one or the other of the two institutions.
