While managing the 1937 Jeanerette Blues, Carlos Moore converted Ed Lopat from a first baseman into a pitcher. He also managed: 1936 Evangeline Opelousas Indians; 1939 Evangeline Abbeville Athletics; 1940 Evangeline Houma Buccaneers / Natchez Pilgrims.
