While managing the 1937 Jeanerette Blues, Carlos Moore converted Ed Lopat from a first baseman into a pitcher.
Also managed: 1936 Evangeline Opelousas Indians; 1939 Evangeline Abbeville Athletics; 1940 Evangeline Houma Buccaneers / Natchez Pilgrims.
While Moore's height was unknown to the record books for decades, an article in The Sporting News on September 19, 1929 lists Moore's height as 6'1".[1]
