[edit] Biographical Information
Carlos García was the Buffalo Bisons hitting/infield coach for 2003-2004. From 2005 to 2007, he was the Seattle Mariners' third base and infield coach. In 2008-2009, Garcia was the Pittsburgh Pirates' Minor League Infield Coordinator. On October 29, 2009, Garcia was named the Pirates' first base coach and infield instructor, replacing Perry Hill in both roles.
In 1995, he had a 21-game hitting streak in June and then a 15-game hitting streak in September for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
