Actor Cameron Mitchell appeared in over 200 TV shows or movies during his career, including "Death of a Salesman" and "Carousel." He pitched one game for the 1947 Las Vegas Wranglers, on August 31. Pitching sidearm curveballs, he allowed 13 runs, 11 hits and five walks in one inning against the Ontario Orioles and got the loss. His second scheduled appearance for the club was cancelled.
