Originally known as Cafaro Field, Eastwood Field was built in 1999. Located in suburban Niles, OH outside Youngstown, OH. Eastwood Field is the home field of the New York-Penn League's Mahoning Valley Scrappers. Youngstown State University also plays some of their home games off campus at Eastwood. Despite the peaceful wooded view from the outside fence, one of the unique features of the park is that it shares a parking lot with the Eastwood Mall. In 2002, upon the completion of the mall, Cafaro Field was renamed Eastwood Field. Similar to many other NYPL stadiums, the main concourse and concessions are located underneath the grandstands. The majority of seating at the park is aluminum bleachers with backs, but there are several rows of box seating along the infield. The last sections of box seats are unique in that they turn sharply toward the foul line and face the infield. There are also a series of luxury boxes along the top of the seating.
