Buzz Wetzel made a brief appearance in the major leagues in 1927, pitching in two games, with no decisions, for the Philadelphia A's of the American League. Another player named Wetzel, Frank "Dutch" Wetzel, was also sometimes called "Buzz" Wetzel.
