Allan Huber Selig
- Born July 30, 1934 in Milwaukee, WI
Bud Selig is the founding owner of the Milwaukee Brewers. He owned the team from 1970 to 2004. He was also Chairman of the Executive Committee and acting commissioner of baseball from 1992 to 1998. In 1998, he was formally appointed commissioner. During Selig's tenure, both as acting and offical commissioner baseball has seen the addition of the Wild Card and Division Series, Interleague play, the World Baseball Classic, home field advantage being decided by the All-Star Game, Realignment, and two rounds of Expansion. Selig has also seen less popular happenings such as the steroid scandal, contraction and the proposal of Radical Realignment.
