Bucky Guth got into three games with the 1972 Twins.
The only other major leaguer (through 2008) with the last name Guth is Charlie Guth.
He was the only player from West Virginia University who made his major league debut during the 1970's and 1980's although Paul Popovich, who had broken in during the 1960's, was still playing when Guth came up.
Guth spent most of 1972-73 with Tacoma.
