In 1950 the Bryan Sports' replaced the Bryan Bombers in the East Texas League. Managed by Bones Sanders, the Bryan, TX club was in last place (23-65) when they disbanded on July 19. They drew 26,050 fans, 7th in the 8-team league. As can be expected from such a poor team in a class C league, there are no distinguished names on the roster and no player had a very good season.
