Bruce Howard had one save in his major league career, though the save statistic did not exist at the time and was awarded retroactively. He registered it on September 28, 1963 as a member of the Chicago White Sox against the Washington Senators. He pitched the last inning of a 7-2 White Sox win, giving up 1 hit and 1 walk.
