Bruce Hitt served as a BK2 in the U.S. Navy during World War I. Pitched two games for the St. Louis Cardsinals on 09/23/1917 and 09/30/1917. He was a physical therapist at the Veteran's Hospital in Roseburg OR before retiring in 1969 and moving to Santa Maria CA.
