Brooklyn Superbas

The Brooklyn National League team was known as the Superbas from 1899-1913. They won the National League pennant in 1889 and 1900 under Ned Hanlon, but after that drifted downward towards the bottom of the league.

When Wilbert Robinson became the manager in 1914, the team became known as the Robins.
