The Brockton Rox are a team that has played in various independent leagues from 2002-2011. Based in a suburb of Boston, MA, it derives its name from local resident heavyweight boxer Rocky Marciano.
In 2009, Justine Siegal became the first female coach of a male professional baseball team.
