Played at SBC Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the Championship Game was first held in 2006. It takes the place of such institutions as the Junior World Series and Little World Series of past decades. In 2009 the game was renamed the Triple-A Baseball National Championship.
