Bricktown Showdown

The Bricktown Showdown is a one-game playoff pitting the champion of the International League against that of the Pacific Coast League. Played at SBC Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the Showdown was first held in 2006. It takes the place of such institutions as the Junior World Series and Little World Series of past decades.

- 2006 - Tucson Sidewinders (PCL) defeated the Toledo Mud Hens 5 to 2. MVP: Scott Hairston Pitcher of the Game: Micah Owings
- 2007 - Sacramento River Cats (PCL) defeated the Richmond Braves 7 to 1. MVP: Lou Merloni. Merloni drives in 4 and Brant Colamarino tacks on a 2-run homer. Shane Komine leaves early with shoulder stiffness and is relieved by Kazuhito Tadano, who gets the win.
