[edit] Biographical Information
Before being called up to the Majors in 1995, he was hitting .329 with Tucson-a foreshadowing of things to come. In his first 37 Major League games of 1995, he was hitting .349, all the while stealing 14 bases. Of course, this was expected of him after his enormous 1994 season, where he topped the Pacific Coast League in hitting, runs, hits and stolen bases. He was named the league's top prospect and a Triple-A All Star that year.
