Brian Gorman

Brian Gorman is the son of Tom Gorman and followed in his father's footsteps as an umpire; both wore number 9. Brian Gorman began his career as an umpire in the 1982 New York-Penn League and moved up to the 1983-1985 Florida State League, 1986-1988 Southern League and 1989-1992 American Association. Gorman became a MLB umpire in 1993. He worked the 1998 All-Star Game, 2004 World Series and 2009 All-Star Game.
